What are we all about?
Friendship and fellowship: The Place community is built on the foundation of love, acceptance and mutual support. Together, we'll grow spiritually and in love, encouraging each other along the way as we seek to follow Jesus together. We value eating together and living life with one another, so we start each Sunday gathering with breakfast.
A Home for All: Everyone is welcome at The Place. Our diverse community embraces people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life. Come as you are, there’s a place at the table here for you. For us this means that we welcome and accept everyone. In light of the many ways in which people are and have been discriminated against in faith communities, we want to be clear that our community actively celebrates human uniqueness including LGBTQIA+ people, and any other differences whether due to sexuality, race, social status, gender, physical ability, mental health, neurodiversity or anything else that people and specifically churches have used to create harmful barriers.
Embracing the Word of God: At The Place, our foundation is built on Jesus’ life and teaching. Join us on a journey of deepening our shared understanding of the Bible, exploring its wisdom and allowing it to guide us in our daily lives, changing lives and communities for the better.
Trusting in the Holy Spirit: We believe that God is at work in the world, bringing transformation and meeting with his people. We are open to what the Holy Spirit wants to do among us and in this town.
Nurturing Spiritual Growth: We learn through discussion and teaching and always make time for heartfelt worship and space for prayer. Our community is dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing environment where faith can blossom and flourish; a place where here you can ask the big questions and grow as a follower of Jesus.

Loving others: As followers of Christ, we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We long to make a positive impact on people’s lives in Frome and beyond, both by starting new initiatives and collaborating with amazing existing community projects. Together, we can be people of hope and compassion.
